INSTALLATION
Industrial grade Epoxy Floors are a cost effective solution that can be achieved in pretty much any kind of surface, in fact it is highly recommended for damaged concrete slabs due to its durability and no maintenance required.
Industrial Grade Epoxy floors are installed by previously grinding the concrete in order to achieve the scratch pattern and the porosity required for the material to soak in and bond properly into the concrete. Generally, the first coat is the Prime Coat (100% solids epoxy resin), which acts as a moisture and vapor barrier that prepares our concrete slab for the next step of the process. In cases where the concrete slab is too porous and sandy, up to #2 coats of Prime Coat (100% solids epoxy resin) needs to be applied.
Next up is the Base Coat (100% solids epoxy resin). This next Epoxy Base Coat fills the rest of the slab giving us complete coverage of the floor anda more consistet color.
